Service your domain will have it's own local CGI-BIN for executing .cgi programs and perl
scripts. We also provide a library of functional scripts configured for our
server. This is useful for
such things as: creating interactive forms on your website with the input being sent to
you via an e-mail message, for page counters with a variety of digit styles to choose
from, for guestbooks and shopping carts.
By being local to your domain, you have the
ability to add any scripts you find elsewhere which provide the functionality you need for
your website architecture.
GENERAL
Each hosted domain is provided with its own
local cgi-bin. This folder has executable permissions for running any cgi or perl
scripts required by the functionality of the website. When each domain is set-up, we
automatically provide the domain with two very useful scripts, a page counter mechanism
and a form mail script for interactive forms.
PAGE COUNTER
We provide a counter which can be used to
tract and display the number of accesses to individual pages within the website.
This particular counter is extremely flexible and very configurable. It will display
page counts as well as count downs or dates. The digits displayed by the counter
come in a variety of forms and are readily available for download from a number of

FORM MAIL
The form mail script is used to process
website forms. This script takes the text input from a website form and converts it
to an e-mail message which is delivered to the address specified in the form tag on
the website form. This script originates from Matt's Script Archive and more

OTHER SCRIPTS
IQ has a variety of other perl, cgi and exe
functions which can be utilized by website designers in their cgi-bin. In
particular, for clients using our E-Mail List Services who
wish to enable subscriptions to their lists from a website form, we have a custom program
which accomplishes this function.
